Beat the winter blues.

Do you experience seasonal sadness? Maybe it’s not a diagnosed disorder, but it doesn’t mean the seasonal affective blues aren’t very real. The good news is that there are things you can do, and you are not alone!

Join me for a timely session on how to beat the winter blues, and learn concrete ways to anticipate, prevent and conquer feelings of SADness. Group programs are great opportunities to learn from and connect with others experiencing similar challenges.

In yoga, deep breathing helps us find our center. Strong, athletic, challenging physical practices help tire our body and energize our spirit. Slow, restorative, gentle sequences help nourish and refresh our body and soul. But yoga is so much more than just physical practice. Yoga’s principles and teachings also heal us and give us tools to be mindful, focused, conscious and thoughtful.

Counselling helps us understand and regulate our emotions. Cognitive restructuring helps shift our perspective from the negative to the positive, from racing to thoughtful, and from chaotic to organized. Coaching helps us make new choices and adapt our behaviours so that we move forward with intentional, concrete actions.
