In all our sessions, we apply a lens of mindfulness and intention to our work together. With that, we combine the cognitive and emotional work of counselling with the action-oriented work of coaching.
In Counselling, we use an emotion-focused, cognitive-behavioural approach to help you understand and regulate your emotions, to identify and modify negative thought patterns, and ultimately to change behaviour through small and manageable steps.
In Life Coaching, I support you as you navigate a major life transition, like adjusting to life after Covid, a move, a new baby, a new job, a divorce, retirement, etc.
In Health Coaching, I help you build ongoing healthy habits like eating well, being active, nourishing close relationships, organizing your time, self-care, and so on.
Counselling helps us clarify and connect with our emotions. Coaching helps shift our perspective from the negative to the positive, from racing to thoughtful, and from chaotic to organized. With that understanding and clarity, we can move more clearly along a path to good health and happiness.
